The 2025 harvest is officially underway! We kicked things off in the early hours of Monday, 29 January, picking our first Chenin Blanc. By Wednesday, the Grüner Veltliner had also made its way from vine to cellar.
But it seems we weren’t the only ones excited about the new vintage… A herd of wild Blue Wildebeest, which roam the Simonsberg slopes, decided to pay us a visit – drawn, no doubt, by the irresistible aromas of our grapes. And if their finely tuned noses say it’s going to be a good harvest, who are we to argue?
