5th Generation Family Vintners
Buy WineThe home of Niel Joubert Wines, is located on the slopes of the Simonsberg mountain, on the outskirts of Paarl in the Western Cape winelands. It is a sizable wine and fruit farm with breath-taking landscapes, five hills, and ten dams that are nourished by a natural mountain spring.
In addition to a large selection of grapes, there is enough water and variation in the soil to support the successful cultivation of apples, pears, peaches, plums, tangerines, lemons, and blueberries. The Joubert family, who are trained horticulturists and wine growers, have owned the farm since 1898 and have continued to independently manage it into the fifth generation.
As a result of their dedication to high-quality production and pride in their accomplishments, the wine brand was given the name Niel Joubert Wines in 1994 in honour of the third-generation patriarch and father of the present owner, Daan Joubert.
